The development group behind Malaspina Ridge Estates' design concept is Dirk Loedel, Sue Loedel and Marnie Martin. This team is committed to providing the people of Prince George the choice of a tasteful, well planned community.

Dirk Loedel has been in the building development and real estate industries since the late 1960's. He was a member of the original corporate partnership that developed College Heights subdivision from the early 1970's to 1984, serving as chairman of the builders group for 2 years. As president and owner of Denise Construction Ltd., he was the first builder in Prince George to be awarded the Master Builder designation with the former New Home Warranty Program of B.C. Mr. Loedel is currently the owner and president of Royal LePage Realty in Prince George . He is an active member of the community, having served on various civic committees and panels. He has strong roots in College Heights having lived there for 34 years.

Sue Loedel worked with the BC government from 1978 to 1992 in which she held management positions that entailed the administration of large projects and building maintenance. She has been very active in the local community by serving on various committees such as Service Quality BC and the Elizabeth Fry Society as well as volunteering for the United Way and the College Heights Community Association. She also served on the Independent School Council for Immaculate Conception School.

Marnie Martin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management from the University of Northern British Columbia . Through her 11 years as an environmental consultant, she has ensured that this subdivision has met all legal wildlife and fisheries habitat requirements with regards to land development. "I envision this area as being a blend of nature and people, where people can enjoy a natural setting at their doorstep." Like Mr. Loedel, she has spent the majority of her life living in College Heights and has grown to love its natural beauty and conveniences.
